Mathilde completed medical school and core internal medicine residency at McGill before coming to Ottawa for GIM fellowship. During her last year of GIM training, she completed a 6-month Critical Care Ultrasound (CCUS) fellowship at Western University. She most recently completed a Masters in Health Admnistration at IHPME (UofT). She is the co-founder of the Ottawa GIM POCUS curriculum and POCUS elective (with Dr E Kilabuk). Her quality improvement and research work focuses on the clinical integration of POCUS and how POCUS can improve resource utilisation and patient care.
