Hospitalist & Resusitationist 2023 has ended
HR2023 is a cutting edge acute care medicine conference that will give you the latest in evidence based, physiology informed practice. In this hybrid format (online + in-person) there are two tracks for the conference (you choose live which one you want to attend!). One is focused on hospitalist medicine and the other on resuscitation. Both come with a world-class speakers, practical physiology, and workshops.

HR2023 runs September 28th and 29th at the Montreal Heart Institute, with pre and post conferences on the 27th and 30th of September. If you can’t make it in-person, register for the online-only option to access dozens of high-quality pre-recorded lectures, and then also zoom into the conference live on the days of.

Dr. Abhilash Koratala is an Associate Professor of Medicine and the Director of Clinical Imaging for Nephrology at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He is an internationally acclaimed expert in nephrology-related point-of-care ultrasonography (POCUS), particularly bedside hemodynamic assessment. He developed well-structured POCUS curricula for nephrology trainees, published in the American Journal of Kidney Diseases and Kidney360. Dr. Koratala teaches POCUS on online platforms such as twitter (@NephroP - has over 50K followers currently) and authors a series of posts for a feature called Focus on POCUN on the Renal Fellow Network, a nephrology blog that partners with the American Society of Nephrology (ASN). His online POCUS teaching tool NephroPOCUS.com has won the ASN innovations in kidney education award in 2020. In addition, Dr. Koratala has authored over 180 scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals to date.
